It develops enterprise software to manage business operations and customer relations, has led and at times dominated the sphere of enterprise apps business for nearly its entire 50-year existence, but Salesforce has now leapfrogged SAP as the world’s largest provider of enterprise apps with a reported revenue of $7.72B compared to SAP’s $7.52B.
